Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag FormRead into the Applications folder.

Open FormRead from Applications. macOS says it cannot verify the app: click Done, not Move to Trash.

Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security and scroll down to Security. Next to the message about FormRead, click Open Anyway and enter your password.

Open FormRead again and click Open Anyway. You only have to do this once.

Prefer the Terminal? This command does the same in one step:

If your browser warns that the file is not commonly downloaded, choose Keep. In Edge, open the downloads list, click the three dots next to the file, then Keep and Keep anyway.

Run the installer. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.

Follow the installer. When it finishes, open FormRead from the Start menu.

Open FormRead from your app launcher. On Omarchy, press Super + Space and type FormRead.

Open a terminal, make the file executable and run it:

If it says FUSE is missing, install it and run the file again:

If it closes right away with a sandbox error (common on Ubuntu 24.04 and newer), install the package for your distribution instead.
